Program Description

The Qualifi – Level 7 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management is a postgraduate qualification designed for professionals advancing into senior leadership roles in health and safety. Positioned at Master’s level, it develops expertise in risk management, regulatory compliance, safety culture, and strategic decision-making.

The programme prepares learners to lead safety systems, drive organisational improvement, and influence high-level decisions. Graduates may also gain advanced standing toward a related Master’s degree, providing a pathway to a full postgraduate qualification.

Entry Requirements

Academic Requirements

  • Learners are expected to hold a bachelor's degree qualification or equivalent.

  • Mature applicants with a minimum of 5 years of managerial experience may be considered on the basis of relevant work experience and their ability to meet the demands of the programme.

English Language Requirements

Learners must demonstrate English language proficiency sufficient to successfully engage with programme materials, participate in learning activities, and complete assessments. This may be evidenced through prior education completed in English or through a recognised English language qualification.

For learners whose first language is not English, an IELTS 6.0 (overall) or above  is normally accepted for entry to the diploma.

 

Equivalent English language proficiency may include:

  • PTE Academic: 50

  • Duolingo English Test: 100

  • TOEFL iBT: 60

  • Examines how sustainable and ethical principles inform health and safety practices, focusing on responsible decision-making, compliance, and long-term organisational impact.

  • Develops advanced skills in research design, data collection, and analysis to support evidence-based decision-making and professional practice.
